After loading my hyperdrive with thousands of photos of cute baby animals, I drove 6 hours to Eastern Washington.  My destination was Colfax, in the heart of the rolling hills of the Palouse.  I'd spend the next 5 days photographing this image rich area.  

I came away with thousands more photos including some night shots of the Milky Way AND the Northern Lights!!
